At four months old, her skin told a different story.

The diagnosis was eczema.

Chelsey had imagined snuggles and soft baby skin, not watching her daughter's skin become discolored and inflamed. She stood in store aisles reading label after label, realizing that none had been formulated with her daughter in mind.

Piecing together options from multiple brands, she found that each focused on a single symptom rather than supporting long-term barrier strength or reflecting how eczema presents across diverse skin tones.

Late nights became research sessions.

The truth was clear. Sensitive, eczema-prone skin requires more than momentary relief. It requires consistent care that strengthens the skin barrier before flare-ups begin.

What she uncovered was not unique to her daughter. It reflected a broader gap in how eczema care was designed and delivered. Melanin-rich families had been navigating sensitive skin without products, research, or care built with them in mind.

The issue wasn't awareness. It was design.

Families need routines that build resilience, adapt to changing skin, and remain simple enough to sustain over time. That truth belongs to every parent caring for sensitive, eczema-prone skin, regardless of skin tone.

What began as a search for relief revealed something deeper.
